Six years and Covid have passed since the release of volume 2 of Bikers MC.
The story seemed to be over. There was no question of embarking on a third installment with the feeling of cashing in.
And yet, here we are in February 2024, after numerous reminders along the lines of "Your story isn't over, there are still plenty of MCs to meet," and my response, "This scene is so volatile and unstable that when I release Volume 10, many MCs will have disappeared, and others will have emerged... there will still be dozens of MCs to meet."
So, I decided to produce a third installment, and to make sure that it was the last of the Saga, I decided to call it "Ultimate".
I embarked on this socio-ethno-photographic adventure in 2017, eight years ago. I had no idea what kind of world I was about to encounter. I knew a handful of bikers who met every Tuesday at a restaurant called "Le Bistrot" near Place de la République in Paris, owned by Tony, a future Hells Angel. From the start, the biker world seemed confusing, obscure, and chaotic, with alliances between clubs, but also turf wars fueled by international clubs trying to gain control over entire countries.
To better understand what might motivate a biker to join a club and especially an MC, I immersed myself in the world of bikers by reading essential novels, stories, but also documentaries and testimonies relating to this milieu.
And finally, what really convinced me to undertake this photographic work was watching the first episodes of Sons of Anarchy.
I saw no link between fantasy and reality.

Six années et le Covid sont passés depuis la sortie du volume 2 de Bikers MC.
L’histoire semblait close. Il n’était pas question de se lancer dans un troisième opus avec le sentiment de surfer sur un filon.
Et pourtant, voici qu’en février 2024, après de nombreuses relances du style « Ton histoire n’est pas terminée, il reste encore plein de MC à rencontrer » et moi de répondre « Ce milieu est tellement volatile et instable que lorsque je sortirai le volume N°10, de nombreux MC auront disparus, et d’autres auront vu le jour… il restera encore des dizaines de MC à rencontrer. »
Donc, je me décide à produire un 3ème volet, et pour être sûr que c’est le dernier de la Saga, j’ai décidé de l’appeler « Ultime ».
Je me suis lancé dans cette aventure socio-ethno-photographique en 2017, il y a de cela 8 ans. Je n’avais aucune idée sur le milieu que j’allais rencontrer. Je connaissait une poignées de bikers qui se retrouvaient tous les mardis dans un restaurant « Le Bistrot » proche de la Place de la République à Paris et tenu par Tony, un futur Hells Angels. Dès le départ, le monde Biker me semblait confus, obscure, désordonné avec des alliances entre clubs, mais également des guerres de clochers alimentées par des clubs internationaux essayant d’avoir la main mise sur des pays tout entier.
Pour mieux comprendre ce qui pouvait motiver un biker à intégrer un club et surtout un MC, Je me suis donc plongé dans l’univers des bikers avec la lecture d’incontournables romans, récits, mais également de documentaires et témoignages relatant ce milieu.
Et finalement, ce qui m’a réellement décidé à entreprendre ce travail photographique, ce sont les premiers épisodes de Sons of Anarchy.
Je ne voyait pas de lien entre le fantasme et la réalité.

I am above all driven by the pleasure of meeting and the game of exchange between the photographer / videographer and the model, whether in studio appointments, in situ for corporate events or by pure chance during a reportage..
After having been a great "freelance - freelancer" traveler for about fifteen years, I put down my boxes to devote myself to others, to photographers who had little notion of business and who despite their talent struggled to sell their reports in France and internationally.
In 2018, the desire to get back on the road of documentary reporting allowed me to design and publish my first book BIKERS MC
